#BBAM23 a Success

Breakbulk Americas 2023 was a Success

The project logistics team arrived on Sept. 23 to summer-time temps and more than 5000 attendees ready to do business.

As a first-time exhibitor to #BBAM we were excited. The event didn’t let us down. The tradeshow floor was expansive, yet there were many familiar faces.

Breakbulk events bring together people in logistics and transportation. According to their website, Breakbulk Americas is the region’s largest trade event for the project cargo industry.

With our booth set, and materials in place, we were pleasantly surprised by the genuine interest in what we had to offer, and the many different questions about our capabilities.

Jordan Mock, VP of Sales and Project Logistics, noted, “I enjoyed meeting with existing and potential partners to discuss current breakbulk trends and their upcoming needs.”

#NationalRoadTripDay

Gearing up for Summer Travel

May 26, 2023

Today is #NationalRoadTripDay, the kick off to the summer travel season in the U.S.

According to a study by thevactioner.com this season is looking to be busier than last. Their survey indicates that more Americans intend on traveling more often and longer distances from 2022.

With more than 85% of Americans responding that they intend on traveling more than 100 miles from home, it’s a great reminder to #Summerize your vehicle.

According to AAA – The weather is good, the road is clear, and the windows are down … but don’t be caught off guard. High temperatures and dry air can wreak havoc on your vehicle.

Here is their recommended checklist –

  1. Fill fluids
  2. Test the battery
  3. Inspect belts and hoses
  4. Check the tires (wear and pressure)
  5. Update your emergency kit – complete with jumper cables

And lastly, to make this summer enjoyable for everyone, remember that the truckers on the road are working. Please respect their time and workspace so they can get home safely to enjoy summer with family and friends too.

Safe summer travels from everyone at AGT Global Logistics to you!
